Dr Rohit Walia

Dr. Rohit Walia  is an expert and experienced cardiologist with specialisation in cardiac electrophysiology , intervention cardiology & structural heart disease. He has been trained in cardiology at top national and international cardiology institutes at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Veterans General Hospital Taipei Taiwan, Leipzig University Germany, Zurich University, USA . He founded India’s first Arrhythmia Support Network and helped establishing cardiology department at AIIMS Rishikesh by starting complex cardiac interventions , setting up cardiac electrophysiology and heart special failure clinics before taking up charge of Cardiology department at AIIMS Bathinda. He is actively involved in patient care, progressive research and medical teaching with aim to offer best care to Indian patients and education to medical students.
